Shantelle Blackwell

I’m the owner and stylist of White Rose Bridal Hair, with 8 years of experience as a bridal stylist. I graduated from the prestigious Aveda Hair Institute in 2014 and spent a few years working at a high-end salon in North Vancouver before returning to my roots in Kamloops.

In 2018, I launched my bridal hair business after discovering my true passion—working exclusively with brides and bridal parties to create the perfect look for their big day. It’s an honor to be chosen to be part of a bride’s special day, and I’m fully committed to providing a stress-free, high-end experience.

Outside of doing hair, I am married to my best friend, and we have three kids who keep us on our toes! We live on a small acreage and are building up our hobby farm—I’d bring home a new animal every day if my husband let me. I also work as a programmer for the local TV and radio station. I love having two jobs that I enjoy, especially since they’re so different—one letting me be creative with bridal hair and the other keeping me busy in a programming role.
